What to Expect

How long are services?
Services start at 10 AM and usually last just over an hour. A typical service ends around 11:15 AM
How should I dress?
The dress is fairly casual. While some people will wear suit jackets, others wear more casual clothing.
What is the worship style?
Our Worship style is a mix of Contemporary and Traditional music.
Is there Sunday School?
Yes! During the school year (Sept - May) we offer classes for both children and adults. Click here to find out more!
Are there places for children during the service?
At Christ Community Church, we encourage all children to stay with their parents and be a part of the worshiping community throughout the entire service. We provide an activity bag filled crayons, coloring books, and other quiet toys to play with if needed. Activity bags are hanging on a rack at the top of the main stairs.
Children who are 5 and under are welcomed to be in the nursery, which is located in the lower level on the south side of the church.
Are there special services I should be aware of?
We have special services on Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas. We also celebrate the Lord's Supper every 1st Sunday of the month. The Lord's Supper is open to all who profess their faith in Jesus and worship him alone as their Lord and Savior.
What can I expect after the service?
Visitors often make the remark that they feel like they are walking into a family reunion when they visit our church. It will not take long before they are greeted by someone and drawn into a conversation about the family.
While some stay in the Narthex (the area just outside the Sanctuary doors) and talk, others will make their way downstairs to the lower level to enjoy a cup of coffee with a cookie or two.
I've been coming for a while now and would like to join. How do I do that?
Typically, after talking with Pastor Josh, you will be invited to go through a new members class. The new members class is designed to invite people into a deeper understanding of what we believe and how we function. At the end of the class, you will be invited to meet with the elders of the church to continue the membership journey.
